Carina: What To Do Single Review

on

Carina Bianchini is a sublime singer/ songwriter who comes all the way from Toronto, Canada. She’s an impressive individual that you should keep a close eye on. Carina made her debut in 2020, and it’s this year when her solo career has ramped up. 2022 has seen the unveiling of Good Intentions, In The Moment, I Will Be There and most recently What To Do. Each of these sublime singles have been crafted to perfection and are highly addictive at the same time. Aside from a soloist, Carina Bianchini is a member/ choreographer of Girl collective Girl Pow-R. I’ve been an admirer of their work since 2017 and they can literally do no wrong. Recently Girl Pow-R dropped So New and this being an emotional pop gem accompanied by lyrics which referenced about starting a new chapter in life.

Not only that Bianchini likes to dance and act, she’s appeared in Canadian musicals such as The Lion King and The Drowsy Chaperone plus she’s taught dance classes for studios like Shiamak Toronto. Having graduated from the dance program at Unionville High School in 2020 with honours (and a dance council scholarship) Carina is now studying Professional Music at Ryerson University.

Back to the single in question 31st July 2022 saw the unveiling of What To Do and this was yet again another glorious addition to the back catalogue. Perfectly written this was a captivating cut which Carina delivered to perfection. Everything about this outstanding original was spot on, the toe tapping melody was rather upbeat, Bianchini’s vibrant vocals were refreshingly beautiful (they had me envisioning Ariana Grande) whilst the lyrical content tugged on my heartstrings. Now why I say this is the fact it painted a picture of a girl who’s caught at a crossroads, she’s deeply in love with this boy but he’s not in the right head space at the moment. Still this was one impeccable number that shows Carina’s star is burning bright.
