Brooke Annibale is a startling folk pop songstress and marvellous musician all the way from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Now this amazing American started to write her own songs at the age of 15. Two years later Brooke self released her debut LP and this being Memories in Melody. This fantastic full length served as her senior project at Moon Area High School. Having graduated 2005, Annibale then attended Belmont University, where she graduated in 2009 with a degree in Music Business.
2010 saw Brooke return with a Kickstarter campaign in order to raise funds for album number 2. This campaign successfully met its target and enabled her to work with producer Paul Moak at The Smoakstack in Nashville. Their sessions resulted in the album, Silence Worth Breaking, this 10 track effort garnered positive reviews and it’s a mixture of folk meets Americana with an added dash of pop. We then get to 2013, Annibale dropped an exquisite EP and this being the 6 track Words In Your Eyes.
Between the years of 2015 – 2018 Brooke would go on to self release a further two LPs, these being Americana drenched The Simple Fear (2015) and the majestic Hold To The Light (2018). Now I have nothing but praise for both of these LPs, they were perfectly crafted gems packed with tunes which left me fully immersed.
Aside from all of that December 2019 saw Brooke Annibale unveil her debut European tour. These 10 dates will see Brooke visit likes of France, Germany and the Netherlands. This announcement came off the back of the unveiling of Under Streetlights, despite featuring on 2011s Silence Worth Breaking this succulent single had been stripped back which created something extremely beautiful. At this moment in time Annibale is currently writing new material for her next album that she’ll debut on the upcoming April tour.
The news doesn’t stop there though, after the show in Rennes on 26th April Brooke will then be making her way to the United Kingdom. Despite there being just only two dates on the bill, I’m positive Annibale will make them extra special mesmerising her audiences in the process.
