Rhia: Fire Single Review

Rhia Bahree is a sublime singer/ songwriter who comes all the way from Australia. She’s an impressive individual with a strong engineering background, plus she’s been working in the Music Industry for over 19 years. Some of Rhia’s accomplishments include thousands of performances across Australia and the U.S. to crowds of over 400,000 fans. Her voice has been heard by audiences at The Sydney Opera House, Tamworth Music Festival, and alongside Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award Winner, Mr. Harry Belafonte.

A noted songwriter, she’s written and recorded tracks for her upcoming releases, which include Break Science (“Grid of Souls,” Pretty Lights Music), collaborations with Grammy Award Nominated writer, producer, and highly revered drummer and producer Adam Deitch (Lettuce, John Scofield, The Average White Band, Ledisi, Justin Timberlake, and more), Chores (Best Electronic Act, Breakthrough Artist of the Year), Illy (Anne-Marie, 15 x ARIA Nominated Artist, 2 time ARIA Winner), and new collaborations with Borahm Lee (Kanye West, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Matisyahu).

Bahree’s also writing songs set to be released for other successful National and International Acts, as well as upcoming US shows, writing, recordings and releases, Rhia’s looking forward to sharing her music and collaborations, and is excited to have also recently finished up writing and recording for another release of hers with producer Samuel PK Smith (Bebe Rexha, 22 Jump Street, Keeping up with The Kardashians), a song which recently won an ATM Award.

The song in question being the debut single Fire, this epic R&B pop anthem dropped on 20th May 2019 and I cannot help but lavish plenty of praise onto this tantalising track. Releasing music under her first name, Fire is an addictive gem packed with pulsating beats, enchanting clear cut lyrics and vocals which soar until the very end. My very first listen of this dazzling delight left me fully immersed clinging onto every lyric sung. Actually Fire has me envisioning Sia.

I’m actually picturing a toxic relationship, the guy is a player and despite the girl being aware of this it’s hard to walk away if you’re head over heels in love. This girl doesn’t like the drama, so all of this is building up and she could snap at any moment “I’m gasoline and fire/ Watch me come alive”.

Fire can be purchased from iTunes
