Frida Sundemo: It’s OK Single Review

This week has seen Swedish songstress Frida Sundemo drop a sensational new single and this being It’s OK.

Having been hooked on the likes of Home, Neon and We Are Dreamers I was extremely excited to listen to Sundemo’s newest offering. Released via Cosmos Music, It’s OK was an enchanting ethereal ballad which I fell for hook, line and sinker. Those glittering lyrics were incredibly catchy and then you had Frida’s soothing hushed vocals which uplifted my spirits. Here is what Sundemo had to say regarding this single “’It’s OK’ is about making peace with the weak and vulnerable you. It’s about feeling like the loneliest person in the world and accepting that life sometimes feels like your enemy and not your friend. It’s also about feeling more alive than ever, about late nights and early mornings, and the longing for embracing every second of life. Because that’s how life is, high and low, and it’s OK”.

Frida has been in the music industry since 2010 creating a lot of pop gems. 2010 saw the release of the debut album Dear, Let It Out, 2013 saw Sundemo release EP Indigo via Parlophone and then 2014 saw her drop the Lit Up By Neon EP via Best Fit Recordings. After having listened to a handful of Sundemo’s original material, I can see a bright future ahead of her.

It’s OK is available to purchase from iTunes
